“OCLP Deliberation Series” Feature Page The Public Opinion Programme (POP) at the University of Hong Kong is commissioned by the Secretariat of the “Occupy Central with Love and Peace” (OCLP) to organize the “OCLP Deliberation Series”, which aims to let members of the general public and supporters of the campaign formulate proposals for the 2017 CE Election through rational discussions. The event uses the concept of “deliberative democracy” established by Stanford University as blueprint, and invites the general public and campaign supporters to join the discussion and to look for solutions via rational discussions. |

POP-NOW Opinion Surveys Feature Page During the period of November 2009 to June 2010, POP and "now News Channel" joined for the first time and conducted "surveys on political reform". It aimed at gauging people's views on HK political reform and there were 10 survey series in total. Since January 2011, POP and "now News Channel" cooperated again and conducted "surveys on public sentiment index". The study aims at finding people's sentiment in long term. |
