Whenever there are large-scale elections, POP would conduct many surveys to track opinion changes. The “2016 Legislative Council Election Rolling Survey” is conducted from 30 July to 2 September 2016. No less than 200 Cantonese-speaking Hong Kong registered voters of 18 years old or above are interviewed each day, to track voters’ propensity to vote as well as opinion changes in each constituency. This survey was co-sponsored by HK01, now Broadband TV, Cable TV and Power for Democracy. The accumulated results in the past 5 days will be used exclusively by sponsors first since August 4. Starting from August 5, the respective raw dataset of rolling survey will be uploaded onto this page for the use of the general public and academic institutions.
