Background of StudyBack

In late May 2006, South China Morning Post (SCMP) commissioned the Public Opinion Programme (POP) at the University of Hong Kong to conduct a public opinion survey on 'Tamar Site for Government Headquarters'. The primary objective of the survey was to understand the public's preferences towards Tamar Site for new government headquarters and related projects.

The research instrument used in this study was designed entirely by the POP Team, whilst fieldwork operations and data analysis were also conducted independently in June 2006 by the POP Team. POP would take full responsibility for all the findings reported herewith.
