Background of studiesBack

The Public Opinion Programme (POP) at the University of Hong Kong was commissioned by the Alliance of Patient Mutual Help Organisation in October 2009 to conduct this 「Opinion Survey on Anti-Drug Counterfeiting」 which aimed to gauge the situation of people purchasing drugs in pharmacy, their opinion on local counterfeit drug problem and solutions.

The research instrument used in this study was designed by POP after consulting the Alliance, whilst fieldwork operations and data analysis were conducted independently by POP without interference from the Alliance or any outside party. In other words, POP was given full autonomy to design and conduct the survey, so it would take full responsibility for all the findings reported herewith.
