Research BackgroundBack

In August 2015, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust commissioned POP to conduct an opinion survey entitled “Opinion Survey on Youth’s Life Planning by Public and Youth”. The target population of the public survey was Cantonese speaking Hong Kong citizens of age 18 or above. The objective of the survey was to measure public’s awareness of the youth career and life planning as well as their opinions on the “CLAP for Youth@JC” programme.

The research instrument used in this study was designed by the POP Team after consulting the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Meanwhile, fieldwork operations and data collection were conducted independently by the POP Team, without interference from any outside party. In other words, POP was given full autonomy to the research design and operations, in return, POP would take full responsibility for all the findings reported herewith.
