Following the Opinion Survey on 「Climate Change/Global Warming」 conducted in August 2006, Greenpeace once again commissioned the POP Team to conduct an 「Opinion Survey on Climate Change and Regulating Electricity Companies on Emission of Greenhouse Gases」 in January 2008. This survey aimed at understanding public opinion on global warming and regulating electricity companies on emission of greenhouse gases. 

The research instrument used in this study was designed by the POP Team after consulting Greenpeace, whilst fieldwork operations and data analysis were also conducted independently by the POP Team, without interference from any outside party. In other words, POP was given full autonomy to design and conduct the survey, and POP would take full responsibility for all the findings reported herewith.
