The Public Opinion Programme (POP) of the University of Hong Kong kicked off on February 8, 2012 its fund-raising campaign for the “3.23 Civil Referendum” Project. As of today, the total amount of donation received is around HKD480 thousand, plus another HKD90 thousand or so pledged. POP has decided to go ahead with the project, and is seriously considering to expand the project to cover primary and secondary schools, with a “3.21 Mock Civil Referendum” Project. POP will hold a press conference tomorrow (February 23, 2012) to explain the latest development of the project.
