HKU POP SITE will tonight release the results of July 1 Rally headcount and an on-site surveyBack

The HKU Student Research Team will conduct a head-count of this afternoon's rally, and releases its preliminary results via the "HKU POP SITE" (http://hkupop.pori.hk) tonight, should be no more than 2 hours after the rally. Dr Robert Chung Ting-Yiu, Director of Public Opinion Programme, is the Honourary Advisor of the Research Team.

 

As in previous years, Professor Joseph Man Chan at the School of Journalism and Communication, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, will collaborate with Dr Robert Chung to conduct an on-site survey of July 1 Rally participants, in order to understand their background and demands. Preliminary results of the survey will be available through the "POP SITE" at around 9:30 pm tonight.

Alternatively, one can go to the home page, click on the left menu "Special Features", then "July 1 Rally Feature Page", and then made the choices.

 

The "July 1 Rally Feature Page" also contains survey and head-count results obtained in previous years for comparative studies. It will be activated later today.
