Though I didn't do a lot, by joining this mass demonstration is one of the means to show our dissatisfaction towards this govt. and also let our big bosses up north know that we want to have a say about our future. We are mature enough politically to decide our future leader. Being a nice guy is only good for a family. Being a leader requires more vision and charisma, someone who have an open mind and heart to accept different opinions. CH Tung should continue his role of a good grandda and leave the HK politics to someone who have the competence and wisdom to do something good for HK. We deserve a better leader than CH - at least on the same par as the Macau Chieft Executive. I spent over ten years away from HK and I can pack up and leave HK any time I like. But, I have my roots here and want to contribute my small part to the betterment of HK by joining more mass demonstrations in the coming future until we attain the direct election. |
