THE – QS World University Rankings Background: Times Higher Education (THE) and Quacquarelli Symonds（QS）have jointly started to compile this annual rankings of top 600 universities since 2004. Ranking criteria include rating among academics and employers, ratio between academics and students, use of research output, etc. In 2016, the responsible organization published its Asian University Rankings for the ninth time. Two institutions of Hong Kong occupied the top 5 places. |
