HKU POP releases People's Instant Reaction towards the BudgetBack

The Financial Secretary, Mr. Donald Tsang, has announced his last Budget on 7 March 2001. In order to capture the public's instant reaction towards this Budget, the Public Opinion Programme at The University of Hong Kong has conducted a telephone survey during 7-8 March. Aligned with the findings of previous years, POP's website, called the "HKU POP SITE" at http://hkupop.pori.hk, now carries the results of this instant poll. The same website has also carried the latest popularity ratings of Anson Chan and Donald Tsang. Our research team would be pleased to answer any question regarding the research design of these surveys, but would not comment on the result of these surveys. Such an arrangement would be reviewed when we have more resources. |
