As we enter 1998, we have featured two special sets of surveys, on top of our regular tracking polls. |

Firstly we have published a series of surveys on people's view on Hongkong-Taiwan relations, as well as people's satisfaction with life after the handover. A similar survey was conducted in Taiwan. |

Secondly we have started to monitor the formation of the first Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the data we have published in this issue is only the beginning. We hope to serve you better in the year to come. |
