  2-Jan-07  對兩個紀律部隊的滿意程度就繼續非常正面，不滿程度都非常之低。巿民對香港警隊的滿意程度繼續高企，不過就已從半年前的歷史高點明顯回落。巿民對駐港解放軍的滿意程度則沒有明顯變化，兩年來都在六成上下徘徊。
their satisfaction with the two disciplinary forces covered in this survey remains very positive, with very low dissatisfaction rates. However, although people's satisfaction with the Hong Kong Police Force has remained high, it has significantly dropped from its record high registered 6 months before. People's satisfaction with the PLA's Hong Kong Garrison, on the other hand, has fluctuated around 60% in the past two years, and no significant change is depicted over the last two surveys.

As for the two disciplinary forces covered in this survey, people's satisfaction with the Hong Kong Police Force remains high, but has dipped a bit after reaching record high last time. People's satisfaction with the PLA's Hong Kong Garrison, on the other hand, remains unchanged over the last two surveys, with almost zero dissatisfaction.

As for the two disciplinary forces, people's satisfaction with the PLA's Hong Kong Garrison has slightly dropped, but dissatisfaction rate continues to be near absolute zero. On the other hand, people's satisfaction with the Hong Kong Police Force continues to stay at record high. If we count decimal places as well, people's satisfaction with HKPF is at record high since this survey item started in July 1997. 
  28-Mar-06  至於兩個紀律部隊方面，市民對駐港解放軍的滿意程度變化不大，但對香港警隊的滿意程度就大幅上升至八成二，是有關調查在1997年7月開展以來的歷史新高。須要說明，調查期間發生的警員被殺案，雖然會得不少巿民的同情，但由於調查已經接近尾聲，而案發以後涉及的次樣本亦只有53個，因此，有關案件對調查數字的影響可謂極之輕微。相反，警隊在去年12月世貿會議期間的表現，可能更能解釋警隊聲望上升的原因。
As for the two disciplinary forces, there is not much change in people's satisfaction of the PLA, while a significant increase is registered for the Hong Kong Police Force, with a satisfaction rate of 82% which is record high since the survey began in July 1997. One point to be noted is that although the murder of a policeman happened during the survey period and gained much sympathy from people, it occurred near the end of the survey and involved only 53 sub-samples, so the case should have very little effect on the figures. On contrary, the performance of Police Force during the WTO conference last December might have better explained the rise in people's satisfaction of the Force.

As for the two disciplinary forces covered in this survey, there is not much change in people's support of the Hong Kong Police Force and the PLA Hong Kong garrison. Over the past year or so, people's satisfaction of the Police Force has continued to remain high at nearly 80% level.

As for the two disciplinary forces covered in our survey, the Hong Kong Police Force continued to maintain its high satisfaction rate, while that of the PLA Hong Kong garrison has dropped back to that of July last year.

People's satisfaction with the Hong Kong Police Force continued to increase, almost to its record high registered in May 2003.  
  31-Jul-04  香港警隊和駐港解放軍部隊雖然同屬紀律部隊，但功能和角色完全不同，未必能夠直接比較。不過，數字顯示，巿民對兩個部隊的印象良好，對維持本地治安和維護國家主權都有正面作用。
HKPF and PLA are two entirely different disciplinary forces, each serving its own functions and duties. Direct comparison may, therefore, not be appropriate. However, figures show that both forces bear a good image, which should have a positive effect in maintaining our social order and protecting the sovereignty of our nation.
