| 有關票站調查於立法會港島區補選選舉日﹝即二零零零年十二月十日﹞進行。 | ||
| 調查從港島區的九十四個票站中選取合共二十個票站進行 問卷訪問。每個票站均派註一名訪問員於票站出口進行訪問，至於各選 區的票站數目則基本上按照選區的人口比例分配。詳情請參閱各區選站分佈表。 調查的訪問對像為剛完成投票程序的選民。 | ||
| 抽取樣本方法是在選定票站出口按照時段以等距抽樣方式，抽取剛完成 投票程序的選民進行問卷面訪。 | ||
| 訪問員所收集的數據會定時由督導員或訪問員傳送至調查中心，進行即時分析。 | ||
Survey Method
 | The exit poll was conducted on the voting day of the Legislative Council Hong Kong Island by-elections (December 10, 2000). | ||
| The survey was conducted at 20 polling stations selected from the 94 polling stations within Hong Kong Island. One interviewer was assigned to each station selected. The number of polling stations selected in each district was roughly proportional to its population size. Please see our Distribution of selected polling stations The target pupulation of the survey was actual voters who had just completed their voting. | ||
| Actual voters who had finished their voting, were selected by systematic sampling at specific time segments. They were interviewed at the exits of polling stations face-to-face using a structured questionnaire. | ||
| The data collected by our interviewers were regularly transmitted by themselves or their supervisors to the survey headquarters for instant analysis. | ||
